The hotel is very well located for getting into central Mongkok but far enough not to be in the noisiest part of town. Mongkok MTR is 15 minutes walk away as is Ladies Market and Nathan Road. Olympic MTR is a 10 minute walk in the other direction. The hotel does have a free shuttle bus service but I never found the need to use it due to the proximity of the MTRs and local bus services. All the staff I met were so helpful and friendly. My room was small but as I had it to myself it was actually a perfect size. I couldn't hear any outside noise even though my room was on one of the lower floors. I loved that this hotel is striving to be eco-friendly. They provide a water bottle in each room that can be filled at water refill stations on certain floors. For breakfast there was a nice selection of hot Chinese food, Western food, pastries, cereals, fruit and the kitchen staff were constantly making sure these were replenished. I stayed at the hotel for 8 days and each day there was something different in the hot food section. There are plenty of places to eat in the same road as the hotel and Olympian City shopping centre is only a 10 minute walk away. The self-service laundry room is great. I preferred being able to use their washer and dryer (for a fee) instead of handwashing my clothes or going to an outside laundrette.

We are so pleased with our choice of Dorsette Mongkok! We were worried about all reviews but it definitely the best option for comfortable stay at reasonable price in Hong Kong for a week. We didn’t take breakfast as wanted to try something from surroundings. View: not so bad! It looks like the race scene from the movie «Ready Player One». What is more there was a distance between buildings so it wasn’t typical asian dense development. Rooms: surprisingly nice and comfortable bed, shampoo and shower gel from Elemis, clean towels. We visited Hong Kong in February. Outside it was comfortable, but inside it was rather cold, so we turned off any conditioning, bought thermo-t-shirts from Uniqlo. Area: Olympic mall, Olympic station (10 min). If you want, you can use free shuttle bus service to the south, to Kowloon Park and Tsim Sha Tsui area (from 10am till 18:00pm). Hotel staff: very friendly, ready for solving any problem. Recommendations: McDonald’s (just the opposite street) - affordable and working round-the-clock. Tim Ho Wan (affordable Michelin cafe): Shop G72A-C, G/F, Olympian City 2, 18 Hoi Ting Rd, Tai Kok Tsui. Paradise Dynasty (restaurant): Mong Kok, Nathan Rd, 625 & 639號Shop no.203 and 205, 2/F

The location of this hotel is superb as it is conveniently close to both the metro and bus stops. The room itself, although compact, is cozy and well-equipped with a table and chair for working on a laptop, a wardrobe, and a safe. Additionally, the hotel staff provided two bottles of water and tea which were always stocked in the room, adding a nice touch of hospitality. The room cleaning service is also commendable, ensuring that the room is kept tidy and welcoming throughout the stay. Guests can also benefit from the air purifier in both the room and the corridor, which adds an extra layer of comfort and cleanliness. Furthermore, the carpets on the floor of the corridor help to reduce noise, ensuring a peaceful stay. Overall, I found that the room was well-soundproofed, allowing for a good night's rest without any disturbances. The combination of thoughtful amenities and a peaceful environment make for an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Location, cleanliness and super helpful staff, shout out to Eddy the FOH manager, he always spoke to me by my name (great personal touch) and went out his way to ensure I had the strongest internet connection as I had two video interviews back in London. He even checked on me half way through to ensure the experience was perfect. Thumbs up Eddy. Staff all round were super helpful and had a great level of English.

Excellence staffs service. Staff offers us the bigger room and able to check in before schedule. Room cleans with bigger space for 2 persons Location good, Mc Donalds and 7-11 just opposite and able to walk to Kwan Tai Temple. 10 Mins Walk to Olympic station subway and along the way have one good taste cafe, Craft Coffee Roaster., recommended!
