We are so pleased with our choice of Dorsette Mongkok! We were worried about all reviews but it definitely the best option for comfortable stay at reasonable price in Hong Kong for a week. We didn’t take breakfast as wanted to try something from surroundings. View: not so bad! It looks like the race scene from the movie «Ready Player One». What is more there was a distance between buildings so it wasn’t typical asian dense development. Rooms: surprisingly nice and comfortable bed, shampoo and shower gel from Elemis, clean towels. We visited Hong Kong in February. Outside it was comfortable, but inside it was rather cold, so we turned off any conditioning, bought thermo-t-shirts from Uniqlo. Area: Olympic mall, Olympic station (10 min). If you want, you can use free shuttle bus service to the south, to Kowloon Park and Tsim Sha Tsui area (from 10am till 18:00pm). Hotel staff: very friendly, ready for solving any problem. Recommendations: McDonald’s (just the opposite street) - affordable and working round-the-clock. Tim Ho Wan (affordable Michelin cafe): Shop G72A-C, G/F, Olympian City 2, 18 Hoi Ting Rd, Tai Kok Tsui. Paradise Dynasty (restaurant): Mong Kok, Nathan Rd, 625 & 639號Shop no.203 and 205, 2/F

The location of this hotel is superb as it is conveniently close to both the metro and bus stops. The room itself, although compact, is cozy and well-equipped with a table and chair for working on a laptop, a wardrobe, and a safe. Additionally, the hotel staff provided two bottles of water and tea which were always stocked in the room, adding a nice touch of hospitality. The room cleaning service is also commendable, ensuring that the room is kept tidy and welcoming throughout the stay. Guests can also benefit from the air purifier in both the room and the corridor, which adds an extra layer of comfort and cleanliness. Furthermore, the carpets on the floor of the corridor help to reduce noise, ensuring a peaceful stay. Overall, I found that the room was well-soundproofed, allowing for a good night's rest without any disturbances. The combination of thoughtful amenities and a peaceful environment make for an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

location was wonderful, definitely in one of the best areas of kowloon. excellent food, markets, and parks are within walking distance. it was pretty easy to get there from the airport, about a 20-30 minute drive so the taxi fare was less than 15 USD. our room was small but comfortable and decent for the price. staff was very attentive. the best part about the dorsett is the incredible washer/dryer! super easy to use, not that pricey, and it was the first time in our month long trip i felt we had clean, fully dry clothes. definitely recommend if you’re staying for quite awhile because of the excellent amenities.

I loved the size of the room, I went into the booking reading reviews that the room would be too small but honestly it was pretty much perfect for us. Breakfast was good! Nothing overthetop but it was good reliable food everyday. I loved the watermelon, it was incredibly juicy and the staff were so energetic in the morning it was a joy to start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Water fountain was good though temperature was always a bit warm. Liked having a fridge so we could store snacks :D

The breakfast spread was very good. Especially like the Danish pastries. They had lots of Tabasco sauce, The coffee was good. The location was very good. The nearest Metro - Olympic, was walking distance connection to and to Big Buddha cable car station and Disney Land. Bus stop was near by. Park'N"Shop and Mc Donalds was also very near. Their Gym was neat and adequate. Their laundromat was a life saver. Their infused water in the lobby was a chill drink after a hot day.
