Dorsett Mongkok, Hong Kong

I loved the size of the room, I went into the booking reading reviews that the room would be too small but honestly it was pretty much perfect for us. Breakfast was good! Nothing overthetop but it was good reliable food everyday. I loved the watermelon, it was incredibly juicy and the staff were so energetic in the morning it was a joy to start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Water fountain was good though temperature was always a bit warm. Liked having a fridge so we could store snacks :D

Good priced (for Hong Kong!), staff very friendly and helpful. Water filter machines in the hotel and a laundry room. Room clean.

We are so pleased with our choice of Dorsette Mongkok! We were worried about all reviews but it definitely the best option for comfortable stay at reasonable price in Hong Kong for a week. We didn’t take breakfast as wanted to try something from surroundings. View: not so bad! It looks like the race scene from the movie «Ready Player One». What is more there was a distance between buildings so it wasn’t typical asian dense development. Rooms: surprisingly nice and comfortable bed, shampoo and shower gel from Elemis, clean towels. We visited Hong Kong in February. Outside it was comfortable, but inside it was rather cold, so we turned off any conditioning, bought thermo-t-shirts from Uniqlo. Area: Olympic mall, Olympic station (10 min). If you want, you can use free shuttle bus service to the south, to Kowloon Park and Tsim Sha Tsui area (from 10am till 18:00pm). Hotel staff: very friendly, ready for solving any problem. Recommendations: McDonald’s (just the opposite street) - affordable and working round-the-clock. Tim Ho Wan (affordable Michelin cafe): Shop G72A-C, G/F, Olympian City 2, 18 Hoi Ting Rd, Tai Kok Tsui. Paradise Dynasty (restaurant): Mong Kok, Nathan Rd, 625 & 639號Shop no.203 and 205, 2/F

The room was adequate and comfortable. When asked the staff was happy to supply me with whatever I needed. The hotel supplies its guests with a hotel bus that goes to other sightseeing places making your sightseeing efficent and easy

The location of the hotel. It was a 10 minutes walk from Olympic Station. and Olympic City Mall which gave us options on where to eat and shop. The property also has a free shuttle that stops at, Langham Mall and Kowloon station and from there you can take the Airport Express. It is just 4 Train Stations away to Disneyland SUnny Bay station so very convenient if you are travelling with small children. The hotel has free water dispenser so you can refill your bottle at any time. The towels in the room are very clean and looks new all the time.
